I am a freelance researcher, writer, and content strategist. I received my Ph.D. in History from the University of California, Berkeley.
My writing on care work, feminism, and motherhood, as well as popular culture and the crisis of higher education, has appeared in both public and scholarly venues including: Slate, Salon, The Los Angeles Review of Books, Aeon, Jezebel, Catapult, The Washington Post, and History Workshop Journal. My first book, Inventing the Working Parent, was published in 2023 with MIT Press.
